The programme includes a trip to Rwanda, where participants will meet and learn from World Jewish Relief’s partners about the work that they do to tackle these issues. At the end of the programme, participants will become the Chief Rabbi’s ambassadors for global social responsibility, and will share their experiences widely, within communities, in schools, on campus and beyond. World Jewish ReliefWe are the UK Jewish community’s humanitarian and development agency. Inspired by our Jewish values, we save, support and empower people in crisis. We were founded in 1933 and are proud to have rescued over 65,000 Jews fleeing the Nazis. World Jewish Relief today supports vulnerable people from marginalised communities, suffering the consequences of conflict and disaster to survive and thrive. We work in 19 disaster-affected countries and 23 towns in the UK. From conflict stricken eastern Ukraine to Afghan refugees in Bradford, and from climate migrants in Nepal to young women in Rwanda, our impact is simultaneously global and local.
