Chief Rabbi speaks at Muslim-Jewish Forum
The Chief Rabbi was one of two keynote speakers at a dinner hosted by the Manchester Muslim Jewish Forum to celebrate its 10th anniversary, their concerted coexistence efforts having successfully united members of the two faiths through social events and trips since 2005. Echoing fellow orator Sheikh Ibrahim Mogra’s call for mutual respect and religious tolerance, Chief Rabbi Mirvis praised the effect of such grassroots interactive initiatives as the Forum, saying “One cannot have peace without communication.”
