Building bridges with the Muslim community
The Chief Rabbi addresses students of Azhar Academy
The Chief Rabbi addressed the entire student body and attendant teachers at an Orthodox Muslim Girls’ School.
He reminded Azhar Academy pupils of the importance of cultivating healthy relationships between faiths, and how mutual respect would help facilitate this. “It’s critically important to build bridges of understanding and tolerance with other faiths,” he told girls, as he stood before his audience in the school hall.
