Thought for the Day: Holocaust Memorial Day 2016
For this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day, for which the theme is ‘Don’t stand by’, the Chief Rabbi alights on a tendency to stand by that is increased, ironically, when the number of bystanders is higher. He brings in a analogy from the Life of Moses to illustrate the timeless teaching that ‘where there is no man, strive to be a man.’
