Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis has been Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth since 1st September 2013. Formerly Chief Rabbi of Ireland, Rabbi Mirvis was Senior Rabbi of Kinloss Synagogue in Finchley from 1996-2013.

At our annual Chief Rabbi’s Conference this week, I presented the Chief Rabbi’s Award 2023 to Rebbetzen Rachie Binstock in recognition of the extraordinary impact she has made on the lives of numerous families as a wonderful community Rebbetzen and the founder and director of the Marriage Enhancement Programme.
Improving global public health is an important part of the Chief Rabbi's Ben Azzai Programme which is in partnership with World Jewish Relief.
